The sublevels are dark and the hard-lines are cut. You are WISP, a maintenance agent with no body of your own — only a signal. Beam your core between derelict chassis, borrow their strengths, and bring the uplinks back online. One agent. Any body.
| PIP · Courier | The everyday workhorse. Walks anywhere a floor will hold it. Can't push, can't crawl, can't smash — but it's always where you need it. |
| MULE · Loader | Pushes crates one cell at a time and smashes cracked walls by driving into them. Too heavy for grated floors. Crates shoved into service pits sink and become solid ground. |
| MOTH · Scout | A palm-sized hover unit. The only chassis that fits through vent ducts. Light enough for any floor. Can't push anything heavier than dust. |
| Hot-swap | Your core beams in a straight line — any distance — to a dormant chassis in line of sight. Walls, sealed doors, crates and other chassis block the signal. Press Space to cycle valid targets, or click a chassis. |
| Scanner beams | Security lasers fry an active core on contact — you can't walk through them. Inert metal is fine: park a dormant chassis or a crate in the beam to shadow the cells behind it. Pressure plates of the same color cut the emitter. |
| Plates & doors | A pressure plate holds its matching door open (and its matching scanner dark) while anything sits on it — a chassis, dormant or active, or a crate. |
| Uplink pad | Walk any chassis you're wearing onto the glowing pad to restore the floor and jack out. |
